Good article by Tom Elias in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Opinion section, Aug 22, 2022.
He points out how costly passing this proposition would be to Medicare and private insurance companies and how this cost increase would be passed on to all us taxpayers. There are already plenty of trained personnel working in the 550 dialysis centers spread throughout the state. He also points out that this attempt to increase staff (and thereby union dues) is not only unnecessary but the 3rd time it has been attempted. Beware, folks, 3rd time is NOT a charm in this case. VOTE NO on PROP 29 and keep medical personnel free to treat other maladies.
