This bill, which would reduce bail in many cases, was first introduced to the legislature in January of 2021. It was passed to the assembly in May and made inactive in September 2021. Now at the last minute on August 23, 2022, it has been reactivated and sent for a third reading prior to a floor vote. No time to review the bill and its ramifications. No time for a public outcry about all its flaws. There was no time to amend it, as the deadline was August 15. Look for it to wind up on Nusulini's desk at the last minute. Another piece of flawed legislation is about to be foisted on the public.
