"Increasing the acreage for a Nature Preserve" but only if 500 units are allowed to be constructed

A 103-acre wilderness preserve in Anaheim that the city advertises for its hiking and horseback riding trails could gain additional acres as well as hundreds of new neighbors if a proposed project goes forward.

Surrounded by development, the area called Deer Canyon is bordered by Santa Ana Canyon Road and the 91 freeway to the north, a shopping center to the east, and existing homes to the west and south.

We should consult with the wild animals who most certainly be displaced for the 500 units and see what they think. The absurdity increases exponentially by the day as a result of California's State Legislators passing SB9 and SB10.
