Coastal Commission Debacle in Desalination Plant

So in the middle of another drought, the Coastal Commission in their wisdom denied the Huntington Beach proposal to build a desalinization plant a month ago but now has approved a proposal to build one in Dana Point which is only 29 miles further south. Perhaps Orange County should propose an additional plant 15 miles south of Huntington Beach and see if that would also be approved. Then they could propose yet another plant 15 miles south of Dana Point. We desperately need as many plants as possible, because the various environmental groups still won't let us build the collection reservoirs we approved 12 years ago.
